<description>Chris Winn has become a "comical" figure in a short time as republican county chair. His idea of doing a parade float rather than looking at the "closed" government operation at Lubbock County(Gang of Four Republicans) reeks of "They're republicans,That's all that matters". As a local political activist I will begin my campaigning for John Miller(D)to oust Bill McCay(R)as will Roger Settler shortly. I also am looking at a bonafide party switch at the first of the year(R)to(D)and may very well seek Democratic County Chairmanship and attempt to bring my 19% of the republican "conservative" vote over to the local democrats. The last few "women" in the Lubbock County Democratic Chair position are simply put "ineffective" as party builders and the democrat men deserve a choice between a man and woman for county chair.
