Honestly, if you're a man and have a problem with "not enough men" in the Democratic Party, the solution is easy: get involved! I am grateful to the strong women who have led the Party in recent years, because without their efforts there would be no Democratic Party in Lubbock! As a man who spends time every week at Democratic Party HQ, I find Charlie’s remark about women to be way off the mark.

Honestly, if you’re a man and have a problem with “not enough men” in the Democratic Party, the solution is easy: get involved! I am grateful to the strong women who have led the Party in recent years, because without their efforts there would be no Democratic Party in Lubbock!

Roger Settler stepped forward to run as Republican for Mayor and you should have volunteered to be Democrat for Mayor. Gilbert Montes also volunteered to run for Mayor so at least the voters will get more than Bad(Miller)/More Bad(Martin)as a choice for mayor. I recently resigned the Republican Party after my 19% forced a chairman runoff and told Chris Winn" forget it" when he asked to meet with me on his runoff plan. I was told "just forget it" at democrat headquarters and later was informed that democrat headquarters does NOT hate republicans but they do hate men(bit of wisdom from Charlie Dunn). Now I will meet with libertarians since I KNOW they are not "off the wall" like local repubs and dems. It's hard finding sane people to "talk politics" with but sanity appears to be "out of fashion".
