Joe Carrillo scholarship fundraiser
If you’re looking for something to do after the Bill Clinton event Saturday night, I recommend the following:
The 1st Annual Joe Carrillo Sr. Scholarship Fundraiser will be held 7PM Saturday, February 16 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1619 Erskine Ave. Tickets are $5 and donations to the scholarship fund are tax deductible.
The event will feature a live band and a DJ as well.
Joe was one of Lubbock’s finest community leaders, and his loss is still felt today. A scholarship fund in his memory will be a worthy legacy. Please attend this fundraiser if you have the time or consider making a larger donation to the scholarship fund if you don’t.
