John Miller is “good” Democrat running against Bill McCay for County Commissioner. I personally will have a John Miller bumper sticker as soon as I can find one and if he were to upset McCay that would dissolve the County “Gang of 4″ republican and force the remaining 3 to maintain their power with a slim majority. John Miller is “good conservative” and may not be as to the left as democrats lean nationally. He’s owner of WesTex Documents at old Reese Airbase complex.I can’t vote for him since he’s not in my precinct but hopefully local republican voters will split their ticket and not vote for McCay. McCay was even absent at the last commissioner’s court session and they only meet twice a month so he must have been ill.Cameras are at all commissioners court sessions and McCay is a known camerahound since his wife is a camera personality at KCBD(Karen).

“What It Means To Be A Democrat” in Lubbock county is
A.Having very few candidates on a ballot with(D)beside name
B.Never having to worry about having friends who are(R)or(L)-being shunned is that result
C.Knowing that winning an election in Lubbock is “highly unlikely” since Lubbock voters would vote for a “bad republican” before they’d consider a (D).
D.You’ll never see men like me(Tex Slim) attend your functions since women like Susan Barrick made them UNWELCOME.
E.Last but not least being a democrat in Lubbock gets “My Candidate Lost Again” T-shirt with a new year underneath saying every 2 years.
F.Being a democrat in Lubbock means one must memorize words to Beatles song,”I’m A Loser”
