“Yes We Can” video picked up by Obama Campaign
Over the weekend I became aware of an Obama-supporter-created video called “Yes We Can.” It features will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas along with Scarlett Johansson and others singing the text of Barack’s New Hampshire speech while it plays in the background. It’s very well done, as you can see:
Tonight I saw that the Obama campaign has picked up the video and used it as a way to reach supporters. This — user-created content as the expression of a campaign’s message — is the future of politics in a nutshell, and I’m happy to see that my candidate of choice and his campaign staff get it.
