What’s on the Ballot?
- 16 amendments to the Texas constitution. The official language of the constitutional amendments on the ballot can be found on the Secretary of State’s website.
- City of Slaton unexpired Council term
- City of Slaton tax rollback
- City of Abernathy local option liquor election
- City of Abernathy unexpired Council term
- Abernathy ISD bond election
- NOT the City of Lubbock bond election
Other entities, like school districts in the area, are possibly holding elections as well. There is still a little time left to set one up, as the final ballot has not yet been created. If I hear anything about those, I’ll make an additional post.

Lefty, the LCL invited Noriega to the labor day picnic. They called and said the would try to get somebody to show up. NO one did. They called and said they would send some material. They did but it was a day late. Mikal Watts contacted us and asked to send a representative. They did. You be the judge.
